Any car can be converted. Some are better suited than others, but it's YOUR car. Electra-City Motors can advise you on what types/makes/models of vehicles are best candidates to determine if your dream machine is an easy build or going to take a bit of custom work.
People have been converting cars to electric for many decades. It's not a new process, nor an unknown process.

The Trucks Our choice is the Toyota Tacoma. The Chevy S-10 has been reigning champ in conversions, and we still love that vehicle and will convert one. We have just enjoyed the quality of the Toyota vehicles and the layout for conversions. |
| The Cost Depends on speed and range. Anywhere from $7,000.00 for a slower speed (top 50MPH, 40 Mile Range) to $15,000.00 for a highway speed capable machine to $100K for supercars. |
The Speed and Range Again, price dependent, but anywhere from low speed 50MPH top to Insane 150+MPH. Range from 40 Miles to 150 Miles with high tech lithium batteries. We make our own battery monitoring/management system used in race cars for the lithium batteries. This gives us the advantage of offering the latest state of the art products to our customers. |
